About Granit
I'm Granit. I make photographs in Kosovo and wherever the work takes me — slowly, attentively, and only for a few people each year.
The short version
I came to photography sideways. I was the kid who borrowed his uncle's camera at family weddings and never gave it back, then spent most of my twenties figuring out that the pictures I actually liked were never the posed ones. They were the half-second before, or the quiet bit after everyone thought we were done.
These days that's most of what I do. I shoot weddings and couples, portraits and families, and a fair amount of commercial work for brands who want their product to look like it belongs to someone, not a catalogue. The thread through all of it is the same: low light, real faces, no performing for the camera.
I work dark and warm. I'd rather underexpose and keep the mood than blow everything out and lose it. I'm not the photographer barking poses across a field. I'll put you somewhere good, give you something to do with your hands, and then mostly get out of the way.
When I'm not shooting I'm usually editing late with coffee I shouldn't be drinking, or out walking with a camera and no plan. If any of this sounds like your kind of thing, I'd like to hear what you're planning.

What I value
Craft over volume
Every frame is composed, lit, and graded by hand. I do not run a factory. I make pictures, one at a time, until they are right.
Presence
On your day I am calm, close, and completely there. No distractions, no half-attention — just someone watching for the moments most people miss.
Honesty
I will tell you what works and what doesn't, what I can do and what I won't. You will always know exactly where you stand with me.
Time — yours and mine
My time is finite, and so is yours. I protect both. I take few bookings so that the day we share is unhurried and the work is never rushed.
On time
The thing I guard most carefully is time — and I will guard yours, too.
I could fill the calendar. I choose not to. A booking with me is a full, undivided day — not a slot squeezed between two others. That is the only way I know how to do this well, and the only way you receive my best.
Let’s talk
Tell me what you’re planning. I read every enquiry myself and reply, usually within two days.
